Day Bag Essentials for Disney World

Day Bag Essentials for Disney World

We recently visited Disney World with our 6-year-old and 10-year-old boys. We had a wonderful time visiting Florida and I recommend going in February. The weather was in the low 70s and we enjoyed visiting the Magic Kingdom and Epcot without the typical Florida heat. We enjoyed snacking around the world and using Genie Plus for the fast passes. For a day at a theme park, I recommend packing a few must-have items to make the experience more enjoyable

1- WATERFLY Small Lightweight Packable Backpack

This lightweight backpack is the perfect size to carry all the essentials listed on this page. One of my favorite feature of the bag is the straps on the side, they are adjustable and secure the water bottles on each side. In addition, I had plenty of room for a phone charger, ponchos, snacks, hooks, wipes, and first aid kit. I recommend this bag if you plan on packing light otherwise it might get to heavy and cumbersome if you pack additional items like a lunch or toys.

2-Insulated Water Bottle with Straw : 22oz

This water bottle is the perfect size, fitting perfectly on the side of a backpack. My favorite feature of the water bottles is the three lid options, which Includes a straw, spout, or fully open. Prior to heading to the parks, I had the water bottle in the fridge and the water remained cold all day, with no leaking problems.

6- Lanyard with card holder

If you purchase the Genie Plus fast pass, you receive a card for each person in your party. To keep the cards accessible, I recommend a lanyard with a card holder for easy access. that you scan when you redeem a fast pass. Some parks offer magic bands but a lanyard is a cost-effective option that allows you to keep all the cards together in one place.

These wipes are a must have to keep germs off especially when soap and water are unavailable. I like this brand because they don’t dry out your hands and are gentle on sensitive skin.
